I'm moving south from Quahog. I see some random empty runestones scattered around me as I go south.
I've finished walking around a cliffside and found a lake. Found a patch of red clay, saw loads of fishing in the water, then I head up around the lake to see a kiln. I'm thinking of settling there for a small time being.

not really lol. you can safely mine off like 40 easy tiles from the cave ground. and by then you have enough nuggets to make 100 supports before you are ready to dig deep.
there is no excuse at all for a cave in.
