seven you know what kind of village we run and what we expect of every player.
you tried hanging with us twice, and twice you didnt like it.

even if you were a teamplayer, you dont play more then a total 2 hours a week anyways.
its easier for us to make up for that lack of labor ourselves, then it would be to now prioritize one more person with gear.

Bisjac your town sounds like fun :D

its very team player, close niche friendly.

we all sleep next to each other when we log off. we all have our own storage in cupboards right next to each other.

we dont do that personal walled plot stuff other blocklanders do because we actually trust each other. thus, with all storage and crafts done in the same yard, we only have to be concerned about updating those few tools at a time.
half of us have specific crafts that all food of certain types is saved for.

and everyone labors the same dumb projects needed at the time. there is no personal time to run out and do things for yourself. because thats not how the game is played.

i would say a better system, is to have a village account you join, and everyone share all the characters on that village. this is NOT a play by yourself game. playing for oneself means your village and quality of things will never be great, and you never get along with villagers if your all greedy for your own stupid items.

thus; how the rest of the blocklanders play

We don't use walled plot because we don't trust each other...

We do it because its easier to expand if needed.

I trust all of my village members with my life, and I can only assume they are the same way. If someone would need to come in to my plot for whatever reason, I'd would be glad to let them in.

I hated grinding which is why I avoided playing.

I play a LOT more now with the LP system.

i like personal plots for privacy.

i generally don't do good socially but being a hermit is a death wish most of the time.

now the problem with the game is, players who dont give a stuff log on 10 times a day for 5 minutes to equip new studies.
or they just idle afk all day.

we dont allow that to go on in our village.

thats the spirit bis

sadly thats how a lot of people play now =/

I like personal plots, but I dont see why there cant be a giant ass public spot then a private sector for people if they want their own personal storage for curios/food.

We do it because its easier to expand if needed.

you keep saying that, what does that even mean?
its not hard to make that first wall planned for the entirely of the village's life.

what the forget could come up, that you would suddenly need to add a square to the village? lol some new guy joins and you think he needs his own farm, his own mansion, and his own leather yard or something? thats some noob stuff when villages do that.

let people run their villages as they'd like

if they're going to forget up then you can just keep rubbing it in their face that they forgeted up i suppose.

yes, exactly. and doing something that you wouldn't do is not 'noob stuff', its playing a different way.

if they want their own personal storage for curios/food.

why cant they just put their curios in their cupboard or 2 alongside others then?

and you lost me on the personal food concept. everyone in the village shares all food. and everyone knows better then to eat food with feps they dont need, knowing feps of others would use that food.

you are literally saying you cannot trust anyone you live with. how can you expect a great village if you all are against each other already.
