See, in Majora's Mask, while you wear the Feirce Deity's Mask, you use that sword. While Z-targeting, if you swing your sword, it launches a projectile ray. Doing this depletes magic. This item will refill it.

Of course, I cant recreate the targeting system of Majora's Mask, but same concept; right click launches projectile, left click swings normal.
