Take out battery, sim card, battery cover and everything else you can take off, and put them all in a zip lock bag of rice.

Take battery out of the phone, and put them in the same bowl of rice. Dry rice works great, I guess it sucks out the moisture or something.

One time me and my friends were in my pool. About 30 mins later my friend reached down to his pocket and said "stuff...my phones in my pocket." Apparently he left it out in the sun to eventually dry and it worked sometime later.

I wasn't. It was in my coat pocket and fell out whilst I was pissing.

Wow, that must have been pretty disgusting getting it out.
