Author Topic: Blockland TV Commercial?  (Read 3524 times)

Do you think a Blockland commercial should be made and put on TV? My vote is no, vote here and say why you think so.

I think there shouldn't be because in some way it really would bug me that there would be so many people on BL, it's nice to just keep BL silent, I mean the Blockland Google advertisement seems good enough, don't you think?

Yea, too many people would come
and then the veteran's will leave :C

I had the same idea as you.

Most likely not gonna happen, but it would be A LOT MORE POPULAR.

Being more popular isn't always a great thing.

I'm all for a huge comunity, but I think an Ad would be silly.

I also like it quiet. keep the blockland population stable

I Agree.

If a person wants a block game, they will search hard enough and find it, which is a good person to join the community. Instead of just all these people who buy the game, and only play the game for a day or two.

That's how I found it! :D

It's cool to have a small community and know everyone, but it would be nice for Blockland to be more known... cause it's one of the best PC games - and the most original. However the idea of a commercial is impractical because Badspot would loose a large portion of the money he has gained from the game, and I don't think it would draw in enough people to make up for it.

Why do you people act like having a TV commercial would be some easy thing to do like Badspot never thought of it before? Its probably too costly, and not worth the time for what it is. We are talking about an independent developer who already effectively has developed a large online following.

nah, I went away for a year or two and all of a sudden there's like 10000 people I don't know. back in the days of 1.032 or 1.045, everyone more or less knew each other.

Before I read the comments and rethink, I would like to say that I am leaning towards yes, but I am still pretty neutral. This is because I think Blockland would increase in players. While some of you think it's a bad thing, it may be a good thing just as much.

We have been lacking the creativity that we used to have years ago and I think a new generation of the community might bring it back (I am just saying that flow of add-ons, new ideas, and content has massively slowed). Either way, Blockland is sure to gain popularity soon enough.

but Sheath you could make it!!!

who would pay for the ad? i don't think badspot would, or he probably already would've by now

Hi I'm DrenDran and I just thought I'd tell you that I don't think blockland should change it's name to brickplace.
Now let's discuss how none of you think it should either.

>That's basically what the OP is saying if the OP dosn't agree with the idea it's putting forward.
