Hey, guys, it's
huskyMUDKIPZ DaPizzanator here again with another one of our Minecraft topics.
Well yeah, I recently got back into Minecraft, and specifically mods. They've made me reinstall MC a few times now, so I'm sticking to the few I use; BetterLight, Zal's (That can't be the right name) Mini-Map, and the Usable books. Here's what they do.
Betterlight: It makes shadows and light more realistic, adding more of a 3D Designer program sort of look. Everything looks smooth and rounded out. I was
appalledasdf amazedified at how amazing MC looked after this. I highly recommend it.
Z-whatever's Mini-Map: I use this one because it has a nice GUI, Waypoints, Coordinates, Altitude, Zoom Levels, and a few other features (Including an almost full-screen map). Again, highly recommend.
Usable Books: Now, I haven't used this one too much, but it has great potential. It let's you write up to 50 pages in a single book, and also title it. The title appears as the scroll-over text in the inventory.
[I don't have a picture for this, sorry :s)
I also tried installing the Grappling Hook, not by 303, because you could throw it like the fishing rod and it dropped a climbable ladder-like rope down the face of the mountain. I uninstalled it, though, because the textures weren't showing up, it was invisible. Anyone have help on this?
Okay, so what do you use? Any really great mods you like? Let's hear 'em.
