From the website:

A technical demonstration of liquid simulations for the “blockType” genre, Liquid Cubed is a WIP project developed by a coder and his brother with the free time they have on the weekends.  There aren't any particular objectives in the game, but you are able to build dams, pump water, drain lakes, and otherwise experiment with the liquid system within the building area.

The algorithm used for the liquid simulation was developed over two years in a modified version of Infiniminer.  After Minecraft's wild success, we thought it was about time we built a standalone "proof-of-concept" in the hope that the algorithm could be integrated within Minecraft, but unfortunately more work will have to be done before this can become a reality.

Pretty cool if you ask me :D

Hopefully this will get integrated into Minecraft.
Unfortunately it does not run on my computer.

I personally like the way minecraft water runs, and I think this would ruin the current style of minecraft.

Dont get me wrong, this is loving awesome, and I can understand why people would want it in minecraft, as it was also, Quite apparently, made with bits and pieces of minecraft code.

I will probobly screw around with this for days at a time, thank you for showing me this.

I would like minecraft to get it's old non infinite water back, The newer water is pretty meh.

I like how the newer water doesn't just invade spaces like a motherforgeter, but I dislike how strong the currents are for a puddle.

Then again, I really miss finding MASSIVE caves that were completely flooded, making them a hazard to explore.

And i miss the thrill of knowing that if there's a sea above me i'm dead.

Exactly, caves are neat and all, but I wish there were more water hazards like flooded caves; You'd descend into one hoping there's an opening or else you're forgeted.
