Game booster is a handy program that when in boost mode defragments ram,and lets you select background programs you don't want to run while gaming then when you click return it fires all the programs back up.
I have this program and it WORKS unlike a lot of others

I used to use that, but now I just defrag every week.

Defragging ram is near worthless.

Defragging ram is near worthless.

Not entirely true, if you have a lot of ram like some users here, 4+ gigs, then it pretty much is, but if you have very little 1-2gigs then it helps.

There was a thread about this awhile back.

RAM doesn't work like a hard drive.

Also Gamebooster is the most useless piece of stuff known to man.

You can defrag ram? Well that's something new to me.

Although I never really had to defrag my hard drive, only once I did.

The point of defragging a harddrive is that the needle throws files in the closest free location, And defragging it cleans it up, Ram doesn't do that.
