Author Topic: Video Game Ideas Go Here  (Read 2228 times)

the rpg i was making and never finished

I've had an idea for a while, a post-apocalyptic shooter starting in city 17 after the citadel goes boom-boom.  You play a rebel that is trying to get out of the city. You would be going through the (mostly) deserted streets, subway systems and rooftops.  You would not be a one man army like Gordon Freeman, and you would be switching weapons like in Left 4 Dead.  Enemies would include metro cops, zombies, zombine, and possibly some other humans.

MMOFPS set in 1942.
-snip-

I remember, a while ago, there was this one game, Blitz 1941, that was like this, but with tanks only.  I think it got cancelled or something.

Filing papers while eating Chili... Yes.
Working at a restaurant and putting jalapeño powder in all of the food and poisoning the water. Also filling the sprinklers with mace and then lighting fires blocking all of the exits.

open-world PVP cyberpunk mmofps with RPG elements and heavy focus on RP.

also it has lasers.

kind of like face of mankind meets planetside meets deus ex.

except not completely forgeted up like face of mankind is.

Game with every *good* RPG element ever seen.  :cookieMonster:

Hexen MMO.

or an MMO of any old first-person dungeon crawler.

ITT You post ideas you have for games.

I have one.

A multiplayer (or singleplayer with bots) game that has 5 players, 4 players are working together to kill the 5th player.  The 5th player is a boss, has more health, more damage, and more speed.  The 4 players are normal humans, but outnumber the boss.

That's all I really thought of.

Sounds a lot like H.I.D.D.E.N.

Some sort of Third Person Shooter, but set in the Medieval Ages. Maybe with a bit of Western RPG magic thrown in there.

Preferably class based, or maybe even customizable classes .I imagine it would be like PVK II but less pirates, vikings, and bunny hops.

One can only dream though.

Sounds a lot like H.I.D.D.E.N.

I remember that, next to nobody plays it.

Have you ever played a game where you wake up somewhere in a usually white-grey tutorial room, which, when completed, triggers events that makes the whole world go to hell and you must save it?

What about a simple game with a catch (like Portal's portal gun), where everything goes to hell in the middle of the tutorial? You could occasionally find sign pieces that teach you new things and discover your past and... you get the point.
