But not d&d. Way too complicated. I want offline, pen and paper, thing for a group of friends, preferably dont have to be brown town about learning it TO learn it.
A link would be nice if it isnt buried in Google. I did search for this, but came up with computer games.

I looked at the wiki and couldn't find instructions, and I thought it had an online client for like, score tracking.

Is that even possible? Their sold online, so I'm assuming not

I read the wiki, through gameplay, and its simple enough if you aren't playing adnd.

F# is a simple roleplaying system, doesn't use dice, but worth a skim.

MegaMek / Classic BattleTech

It's a offline/online java based version of the Classic BattleTech tabletop RPG/wargame. Supports 2-4 players on the same client (IIRC). You can also print out maps and cutout models and play it IRL, so you could have all your friends play, so you could have like 8 different players, but that would be a clusterforget. There's a RPG version called MechWarrior which is more akin to D&D, but it isn't available for free.

You might want to check out a GURPS RPG, but I don't know how many are free.
