Bump, just thought i'd let you guys know that the blb editor was updated to v0.25 and now includes:

Zooming
XYZ Axis lines (Toggleable)
Grid (Toggleable)
Bug fixes

You can get it if you go to his site, http://zack0wack0.com

Zooming

Awesome.
I suggest making it usable with the mouse, if that wasn't already in the plan.
I personally think the keyboard's -/= should be changeable to the numpad's -/+, and not require holding down the ctrl key.

Perhaps an Option's tab should be made for such things?

Bump
Are you doing any progress on this? It looks nice so far, but it needs a bit of work.

Any way we could get this to EXPORT to obj, 3ds, etc?

Yeah, but I don't feel like working on it now.

EDIT: I have a broken BLB2OBJ if you want it.

Ah stuff.

I was working on a 3D preview for AfterBlock's brick creator, I thought I was the first to go there but you were more than a month ahead. :u

Python is really turning into a bitch. I'm still thinking of remaking it using the web, seeing as I'm really into web development now. I could much easily add melding too.

Bump

I try clicking the download link on your website for the blb editor, but it does not do anything.

The link does not take me anywhere, or asks if it could download.

I don't like it. Its not a visual manipulator, its a code editor.  I found trying to simply turn a brick and put it on it's side an all day job with hours of research to find out what the code means.
If it had rotate, scale, and vertex tools replacing bare coding, I would enjoy it.

Its as easy to use as going into the BLB file itself and changing the code there, just without a picture.
I am disappointed.

No, rendering is so much more important. BLB files are incredibly hard to get right, reopening Blockland for each change you make take ages. Having it pre-rendered is a lot easier.

Oh, I see what this is. I thought it was something to actually MAKE the BLB. Its just a way to view it...
Well, darn. I wanted to make some bricks.

I did export to obj, what next? I have to separate these number in order each brick layout?

I feel almost become to master brick maker!!!
