Author Topic: Let's build! San Ramon <The Original Game!>  (Read 14045 times)

Okay, I guess Red wins. Update shortly, this gonna be good.

Attempt to persuade the local sheriffs to check out the construction.

Attempt to persuade the local sheriffs to check out the construction.

Well, see that might be what the construction is about; since there actually isn't any local sheriff or law...

Update Four: April 1902

It appears that Sacramento has sent officials to San Ramon due to it's quickly rising population. These officials are now in charge of the local "law enforcement", this new building is a Court House. Let's just hope these monkey's in suits don't stop our plans for San Ramon.

Notice that a new commercial building has popped up behind the new Court... I wonder what that's all about.

Ah! Here's the culprit! It seems that your arch nemesis Lary Pine has set up a cargo depot in San Ramon. It has provided jobs for the town, and more demand. But, he's stealing our business! Let's see how we can deal with this...

Oh god... he's even set up factories!

He's seriously intruding on our territory...

The Proposal

Well, here's the overview of the town as of 1902.

(see the new farms)

This proposal has nothing to due with expanding the town, it has something to do with making money. Choose the option that you think will make the most money for Western Rail/ the option that pushes Lary Pine out of San Ramon.

Note, that if you vote for arson that you'll have to decide between Odd or Even.

You have the usual day for voting.

Make a lumber mill.

Burning down the Depot will just scare away civilians. Besides, we don't have a fire department!

As said before, if a clear winner doesn't appear soon; I'll have to be the tie breaker. I'll wait around an hour before I check this again, and then there'll be an update

even the op forgets about his thread, and gets in trouble

Yeah...

Update Five: December 1902

Sorry for the lack of an update yesterday; I was tired and preoccupied with Homestuck.

Well, that aside; a new Lumber Mill has been built, and it is raking in a profit for Western Rail. It is providing an influx of wood and building materials.

The factories need more laborers, so a real estate company built a new section of houses. We actually need even more houses, and farms; and we'll address this in today's proposal.

The biggest new thing is a this wide track of land. San Ramon has been growing so quickly; that we've decided to buy this section along the Despues River.

This bridge was built when the Rail link was constructed. It is one of the first double-decker bridge in the West.

The Proposal

This new track of land will definitely let San Ramon stretch out.

So, unlike the other proposals, in this one; each one of the colors are actually a different thing. They are not all Housing projects etc.

Red is Farms
Blue is Factories
Orange is Housing
Green is Housing.

You have a day; also I'd like more feedback on this whole thing so I can make it easier to understand/more fun etc.

The game is perfect as it is.

Vote for ORANGE!

Green, because if its orange some of the houses will be behind factorys and the people may not like seeing that in there back/front yard.

Thanks for the feedback; update sometime tonight.

Even the Lord Lordy gets Homestuck :D

Sorry guys; I forgot that my friend was coming over last night, so i couldn't update.

Update Six: February 1903

Your board of directors have chosen to extend farms to the newly bought land area.

These are more than enough farms for at least a thousand more people. Speaking of people, the population has plateaued at around 2000; we need to build more homes.

It seems that someone has taken it into their own hands; looks like a a few houses have been laid out for construction. Though you will need more to see the town grow larger.

The Proposal

Since you want to make this town grow; today's proposal is for new housing.

Vote for the usual colors.

You have till tomorrow for voting.
