IMO your red looks like orange and your orange looks like yellow
but that's just me

Also, great work on this topic!
Yeah, I sorta agree; but people know what I mean. :P
Thanks for the compliment!

Update Eight: January 1904

A promising new factory complex has been constructed, along with a new rail station. The factories manufacture furniture and household goods. These factories have boosted revenue for San Ramon, and has raised the need for even more houses.

The small rail station in the foreground with the new complex behind it.

Business has boomed in San Ramon. Two new large stores/offices have been built in the city center along Main Street. Some new homes have been built behind them.

The town hasn't expanded in this direction along Main Street because of these farms. It has become impossible to expand along flat land in the valley due to farms bordering either end of San Ramon. And in this direction there are only two; the other, many more... These two will have to go soon for the town to expand.

The Proposal

As mentioned, the factories need workers. Thus; the town needs even more houses.

Choose between the usual colors

Please note that if Red is chosen, the Lumber Mill will be moved (as seen on map) to a denser part of the forest.

A day for voting. :3

Will landscape work ever become an option

blue because it looks nice

Will landscape work ever become an option

What does this mean? I will make the landscape as we expand, when it's needed.

If you mean, like, land flattening projects and all that. We will once we get the technology; and the desire of enough people to due so. We might fill parts of the river etc.

ding ding ding

yeah those hills are a real downer when it comes to expansion

Edit: Hey guys, if we move the lumber mill AWAY from the trainstation, how's that going to affect industry?

Sorry guys for no update yesterday; I came home from school and had a head-splitting headache. I could barely function, thus I am staying home from school today. I promise there will be an update today if I don't feel utterly horrible.

Oh, and I don't think moving the lumber mill away from the station would be such a big deal. Trucks could easily drive the wood to the station with just taking a few minutes more of delivery time.

You mind if i make another Lets Build only a bit more techonogliclly advanced?

I don't mind at all, as long as you put some unique things that you have come up with in it. So, you can use the basics of the game which I have created; and grow from there. Also, if you do create one; I'd like you to put a link from the OP to here. And I will put one to yours, this way people know they are connected.

And for all who are wondering; I plan to follow San Ramon up till 2075.

Wouldn't mind helping out in that. Just a couple of things to make the topic visually pleasing as such.

Update Nine: December 1904

The board has decided upon moving the lumber mill and building option Red. The new homes and the opportunity of jobs have attracted many new residents to San Ramon. The population is now 3400, with more people; we need more farms

The Lumber Mill is making good business in a more dense part of the forest. The large redwood trees are wonderful building material; and we'll need lots of material to expand.

The land is actually getting pretty crowded, we will buy some more land soon.

The Proposal

We need more farms to feed more people. We also need to move some existing farms to make way for expansion. All the options get rid of the farm closest to San Ramon (the black X), we are only deciding where to put more farms.

I've changed the colors so they actually look like their names. Choose between Red, Orange, and Blue.

You the normal day to vote. :D

Edit: I think the last vote had the most votes cast; with 13 people contributing!
