My sister, as you might know, has a metal rod in her back due to a scoliosis surgery.
My dumbass furry friend threw her backpack across a fence.
When she told me about it, I noticed he was walking behind me so I turned around and kicked him.
But, I hit this glass thing he made in class by accident.

But yes, I would come and help someone I know who was being attacked, but since this guy was leaving, I'd just let him leave, as I guess you did too.
