I felt we needed a graphic design topic, or just basically a topic for things you create with a computer.

So post what you've made.

Note: When I say, "things you create with a computer," I don't mean things you create in MSPaint that take you 20 minutes tops.

well all of my work is on the model topic and i wouldn't wanna crosspost so yeah.. however on the last picture why are the hearts reflecting of the opposite sides? reflection is caused my light location right? so it should be on the same side.

Well, I wasn't really going for any amount of physical accuracy there, and if you think about it, the highlights don't have to be on the same side, it gives it a certain amount of depth. And thanks.

Are you showing off your school projects? Most of them are really great, but the stuff you made relating to Blockland is much simpler. The iEvent logo looks like cooltext, the ARC explosion thing is just cut & paste, and I (who is not very creative and not an expert at graphics design) could make the OasisEngineering thing. Also, "Halfdemon" looks extremely cliché.

Are you showing off your school projects? - No, none of these are for school, and I'm not really showing them off, I just put them there to start off the topic and provide some examples of what I'm talking about.

The iEvent logo looks like cooltext - I don't know what "cooltext" is but I assume it's a website/program with which you can create neat text effects and it doesn't require much effort, however I don't know because I've never even heard of it. Everything I've posted here was created from scratch, except for the photo manipulation.

the ARC explosion thing is just cut & paste - It actually isn't; again, it was created from scratch, except for the Blocklander, A.R.C. provided that for me.

Also, "Halfdemon" looks extremely cliché. - Yes I know, I was just trying my hand at that kind of photo manipulation.

The thing that pisses me off about graphic design is that I can never afford the software to do the work, therefore I can't start learning now.
