Author Topic: My iPod touch is dead now.  (Read 815 times)

My iPod just went through my washing machine. Well, I guess it was good that it was only a 2nd Generation iPod... :C

Well, hope that whoever got you the Ipod will get you a new 4th gen one.

same happened to my brother, but it lived.
try it in a couple of days.

And guess whose fault it was.

And guess whose fault it was.
Yes, make me feel bad that I am a human being and make mistakes. >_>

Anyway, I might get a 4th generation, cause I have saved maybe $300 in the bank from past birthdays.

If your screen is cracked your screwed, put it in rice leave it out in the sun too. If you already turned it on you short circut the battery. My Ipod fell in the pool I just put it in rice and it was fixed. See rice absorbs water like crazy so it does work

my ipod's gone through the washing machine like 4 times, It also sat in the garden for a year and a half in the rain (Not my fault) And it still works fine, Apart from a terrible battery and a slightly dodgy earphone socket thing.
(Not that i use it.)

Well, He does live in Britain.

And my brother went swimming with his 2nd gen. it still works but the screen is water damaged (Thank god)

My word. I laughed so hard at the replies here.

The only problem I've ever had with my iPod (Nano, muhaha) was the first one I got for Christmas. The power button mechanism goofed and I had to get a new one.

I've dropped my iPhone in water tens of times. Not stuff happens. I drop my phone in the snow all the time too. Never had a problem, lol.

I'm pretty sure the sun damages it.

What you should do is turn your iPod off (if it's able to turn on), get a small plastic container with a lid on it, fill it with rice, and then bury your iPod in the rice for about 3+ days.
