Says the guy with a avatar that has a girl wearing a cat band on her head.

Only if we can find aliens, so we can set them on fire.  Then they'll be hot.

1. I'm not really a furry

2. Because I NEEED to have a furry avatar to be a furry

I'm an ape who is missing tail look I'm a furry.
Fortunately I have two arms and legs to stand upright. Is that hot or what?

I wonder if they will have the same thoughts about us.

We've already searched through the closest stars, so even if we find something, it will most likely be millions of lightyears away.

We need to become independent of earth in the long run.

No.
We should invest money into improving technology to the point where going to space and back is just your average day to day vacation.

Then going around the would would be like an hour or 2 0.0

Right now we should just focus on getting out there, we need to develop a better, less expensive form of space travel so that we can get to Mars. Anyway, I really don't think that we need to go anywhere at all to find similar life out there, we need only become active in space travel and broadcast some signals to get there attention, they'll come to us. I believe they already have tons of times.

That's just a random guess based on nothing

Rest in Peace NASA. Now we are not going to get ANYWHERE.

Quick, deep space travel is pretty much impossible to achieve with today's tech.

Personally, I don't see how this would be beneficial.
By investing, are we talking about government spending/tax payers dollars/our own investments?

If it was to be done, I can't say I'd want to spend much on it.

You are a loving idiot. NASA cannot afford to buy parts for space shuttles anymore because even the lowest bidder drastically raises their prices when government-run businesses want to buy.

If NASA left shuttle-building to private companies, they could afford to make even MORE shuttles year-round than NASA, and quickly develop a better space travel system than NASA could ever hope to afford to do.

And let's not forget that those private companies that do get advertisements into space, could you imagine how much money they would be making? That's more than enough motivation for everyone to start spending.

With our current administration, I would think that it probably won't get off the ground. Nasa can't afford because they are getting taxed to death.

I'm not the one cussing about something I don't understand. You are.
