Ok, this works.
There is a new vote to revive the death penalty. Of course you go and tick yes in the voting booth.
The death penalty is now back and the next day a man kills a random citizen so he could rob their house. You are in the jury. You watch him as he is found guilty. He is given the death penalty by the judge. As he is sitting in the electric chair you watch and this is what comes into your mind: 'ha ha ha he's going to die. I'm glad I voted for the death penalty to come back otherwise this may not be happening'.
But think of this, without you and the other people voting for the death penalty this man wouldn't be dying, so technically you just killed a person, the same as he did, so why aren't you being killed? You had a reason to kill and so did he. All of the people that voted yes are now murderers.
Hmm? This make you think about it anymore?
