Most illegal immigrants are just people coming from harsh conditions trying to make a better living, they aren't stealing your jobs, they aren't stealing money, or government benefits.

Imo it should be easier to become a citizen and although English isn't the official language at a federal level it is in at least 25 states.

Well first of all any illegal immigrant who gets a job had to steal someone's social security most likely. But I bet you don't mind someone using your identity as long as they are trying to have a better life. Also a large amount of illegal immigrants are into drug dealing or other illegal activity. Illegal immigrants sometimes manage to get welfare and other government aid without having to pay any taxes. They will often go to an urgent care, get treatment, and then not have to pay, leaving it to the tax payers to pay the bill. They can pursue a better life, but when it costs me and harms me, I will try to stop them is how I look at it. Imagine if you owned a store and some guy came in and robbed you and said "sorry I can't feed my kids!" You'd probably still call the cops because you want your money back.

I'm sure if you leave the country that you live in now and go to a completely different country with the same technological and ethical standards, you would keep your original ethnicity and costumes. If your old country (EXAMPLE) pick their nose at 12Pm and you learned this your whole life, you wont change at all. Even after you move to a new country and everyone calls you sick, you wont give cause its your origin of home and you feel proud of it.
