I do not believe government should tie into religion, at all.
I also believe people should get to worship whoever they want however they want.
Not get told that they have to do this, or can't do this, or go to hell for that, by some guy in a ridiculous hat.

If a phrase is bent around and broken as much as something like that, it shouldn't be considered part of that book any more.

The bible is very heavily edited.  Plenty of books have been found that were part of the bible.  They were deemed "heretical" and were put into The List of Forbidden Books.

No, I go to Catholic school.  I was forced, otherwise I would have failed.
