So, I downloaded a DLL and used Replacer to replace the DLL and make a backup called shell32.backup.dll or something. So, I powered off and went to sleep. Then, I booted my pc and here I am. GOD-forget I HATE COMPUTERS.

Funny story here again.
So, when I first got this computer, it was my parent's given to me. So, it had music and stuff from my brother and what-not. So, when I shut down the pc, I just held the button. I did this and a few days later, it messed up so I had to reinstall the OS and start over. So, yeah,

Here is what you need to do. Get a magnet, and the HDD drive. Attach the magnet to it and scratch with the magnet really hard. It should work again after you do that.

im guessing its a virus thats been half cleaned lol. and corrupted remaining files are still causing forget ups.

It had something to do with the replacement of shell32.dll

If you're asking if you can boot off a USB drive, it won't work if you don't know what a boot menu is. Just install Ubuntu.
