The song in the OP is called Rockafeller Skank, and I happen to like it just as a side note.
anyway, I'd have to say the worst song I've ever heard is
Like a G6 by Far East Movement.
Not only is it easy to hate the song from a musical standpoint (the hook of the song, which contains the name of the song, are sampled from an even worse song), it just pisses me off to see almost everyone at my highschool completely fall in love with a song that glorifies debauchery. I don't give a stuff that the artist made it, I'm not someone that thinks we should sensor music, but there was a time when music with such poor values was ostracized to the outside of societal norms and now this inversion has occurred where all this music has been thrust into the mainstream and that's what we hear on the radio.
And I know that there are songs from twenty, thirty, forty, fifty years ago that were arguably just as bad, but now we've got this blatant assertion of what is and is not cool, and what's cool right now is apparently drinking and loving and spending lots of money.
Perhaps this is the first step into the adulthood that I always hated the idea of "kids these days and their... xxx" but I feel like when the most popular songs is entirely and blatantly about drinking booze, even condemns chicks who are sober but act drunk, we've got to take a step back.
Call me a kermudgen or a hypocrite (I'm going to go play a game centered around killing in a sec, brb) all you want, forget it, I hope I'm wrong and this generation grows up to be productive members of a society that end up being more or less based around positive social values.
