I can't run it on my computer. I can completely tell.
You should be able to run it on a computer from 1999.

you have to work very hard for many hours before you are capable of getting to the "fun" stuff.

so say every wow-fanboy that hates us for getting bored of the game after 20 or less hours of play.

a video game HAS to catch your interest within the first few short hours of play. this is the business of that market. you should never let fanboys try to shame you for not "putting in enough hours" to "get it"

Most games, I would agree with this. But WoW is a MMORPG, MMO means many opportunities for 'friends' RPG means that it needs a little bit for it to be OMWTFBBQ because of the story lines. Trust me, at least run a dungeon.

no MMOs are not immune to this. it makes no difference what the genre is.
you cant excuse a movie, game, book for sucking just because it's something different.

I just said that because of the Genre, it takes more times to get into things. (Shooters insta-action, racing insta-action, etc.)

i have played MANY mmos. i have found reason to like any of them within an hour of playing.
wow for some reason was one of the hard ones to like. from a guy who is addicted to mmos, that is a sad thing.

I liked it because I looked forward to later levels and all the cool stuff you got.

Then I got to the later levels and the cool stuff.

Now I'm like wat do.

Well theirs always stuff to do its just the game is so repetitive for me.

Yes, because all MMOs are exciting! No, nien nop. Rpgs take time to get into, exspecially WoW because of the slow starting zone. Also, it should take about 5 maybe 6 hours to get to lvl 10. No, 20+ hours dedicated for him. Hopefully.

Walk around. Like a bad-ass. Without any milk.

Agreed. A game should be fun to begin with, you shouldn't have to turn a game into a job to unveil fun.

What's more annoying is all of my friends are talking about it, constantly, so instead of us getting together to play some good games and have fun, most of them are off playing WoW, and trying to convince me it's "a great game". This is equal to trying to talk about how good Justin Bieber is and to come listen to his music, just so you understand my pain and frustration.

I got bored of WoW, and I still think that's taking it way too far. There's a line, but you didn't cross it; you took a warp-capable ship and flew way over it.

The only fun thing about WoW is playing it with a friend, or the instances. The community is split between the nice people, the stupid people, and the counter-strike level starfishs, as with any other game.

It's not as bad as everyone says it is but it isn't as good as everyone says it is either.

Well at level 10 you've experienced all of the features WoW has to offer, if you haven't liked it after all the raiding you did at level 8, all the 40vs40 PVP you did at level 5, and flying around azeroth on an epic dragon at level 9, you will probably never like it.

He's right.

I'm going to post this here so I don't stuffpost in the WoW thread.

I played WoW with a friend a few days ago, figured I'd give it another try since all of my friends are getting into it, and it was boring. There was nothing about the gameplay that was even remotely fun, there was no immersiveness, and the gameplay is lacking, almost nonexistent. The graphics are just hideous, the game was made in 2004, and has done well until now, but not well enough to upgrade from the graphical standards of the goddamn N64? Anyway, there's not much to complain about really. I exaggerate quite a bit in my critique of WoW, but really it just boils down to "the game is ridiculously boring". In all honesty, I can't even begin to understand how this game is the 'greatest mmo of all time'.

Get the forget out.

Yes, I know that. But it still makes me feel like I over looked the fact that I already posted here >.< Which I did. But seriously. Who actually degrades a game for its loving graphics. I play loving Duke Nukem the original and I think it's fun as hell. It's graphics are loving terrible. Graphics dont make the damn game, Yuki.

I never argued that graphics make a game, but you're ignorant to think graphics aren't important in game design. My point is that Blizzard, in ~6 years of game development, hasn't taken the time to increase the visual quality of their game.

Also, Duke 3D isn't the original Duke Nukem. The graphical quality of Duke 3D is awful, but was good for the technology of the time, so it's understandable. It had good graphics. That's the difference. Duke 3D is a relic, WoW is a fully-operational modern-day game.
