unless you don't understand that you can run any program through the task manager itself and you don't need explorer.exe .. which is what I had suggested to him. hence the whole "manually run explorer" and I'm sure he's smart enough to figure out he could type something else there too.
Obviously he loving tried that prior to your, and my, reply.
Also Gamefan that makes a lot of sense, I didn't want to suggest that since that's.. pretty serious, but my old desktop did end up having a forgeted up harddrive, which could obviously result in a forgeted up OS that you can't repair since the Harddrive simply doesn't function anymore to the point where you can fix it. At least you don't have to buy a whole new copy of Windows, if you can find an affordable Harddrive it's really not that bad, right?
