Author Topic: I'm sick...  (Read 1225 times)

I've got a cold and it's really annoying. There seems to be a mucus build-up in the back of my nose/throat. Does anyone know how to fix this?

1. sniff some pepper
2. close mouth
3. DONT HOLD BACK, SNEEZE THROUGH YOUR NOSE

It's some strange herbal mix thing my dad gives me when I'm sick. If you inhale it, it will dissolve mucus.

Pepper doesn't make you sneeze, silly!

Methanol Menthol, get a whole load of it.

Lemsip things almost always help me feel better.
Otherwise I take a couple Ibuprofen tablets.

It might make you feel better, but it's not likely to remove the cold.
Unfortunately sickness is just one of those things we have to go through, regardless of how annoying it is.
It's best to just relax and try to feel well. You're likely going to be uncomfortable no matter what.

Speaking of herbal mixes....

and ammonia
That doesn't yield Chlorine gas, that yields Chloramines which are annoying but less horrible. Add acid to bleach, that always works.

You watch too many cartoons.
i had a boogie stuck far back into my nose because i tried to get it out with a Q-tip
so i sniffed some pepper, and sneezed it out.

same thing happened when i was sick with a lot of mucus in my nose, but i couldnt blow it out.

you sneeze when you have stuff in your nose.
if you put pepper in your nose, your body will try to sneeze it out.
