Downloading demo now, at 720kbps :) Looks badass, and I was a massive fan of DAO. Probably gonna pick this up, but not until Skyrim, LA Noire, and Duke Nukem Forever. Oh, and the new COD, if it comes out this year ;)

EDIT: And Uncharted 3 (WIN)

How the forget am I gonna afford 2011 :(

Go right to Battlefield 3 when it comes out. It'll lay any other FPS game to shame. :)

The only thing I'm not liking about this is that the combat is so fast that it's hard to watch. In Origins I could watch all the animations and follow along. Here, it may as well be one of those fights on old cartoons censored by a smoke cloud.

But the fighting is more in-depth and user oriented so I think it will even out once you get used to it.

Just got home from picking up the game at bestbuy. I'm installing now.

Didn't really like the demo. Did seem that there would enough replayablility.

ffforget  I can't run the game on max settings. :panda:

This game is really fun so far, and I've done really little. I don't see what Madmitten meant by controlling attacks. Right now nothing is all that different from Origins.

It is somewhat different between console and PC. On the xbox demo, I was able to repeatedly jab the A button and my rogue would do several attacks in a flurry. I'm not sure how that works on the PC, but I'm sure it's something similar or easy to find out and macro.

i didnt like the first one, i got it on steam and played it a whole 8 hours lol.
it was good in that it was old school rpg. like the use to be. though now the bar is set much higher.
"epic" no longer means a long story and 50 hours of gameplay. now people expect open world gameplay to match graphics like this.

no one had problems with linear rpgs when they were 32bit. its not so much anymore.

I think sandboxing it would ruin the whole thing. This second one is set as a clear story line that has to be followed so a linear approach needs to be taken in order to remain in line with the plot they have already developed. I enjoyed the first one immensely and after trying the demo for number II, I'm even more excited to play it.

Y dad brought home this inflatable DAII promo sword. It's fun hitting pplz with it.

Haha, I just found a Starcraft reference, I have to go and save these mages from a ship captain named Reiner(Raynor) and he is hiding in Arthuris'(Arcturus) Private Dock.

I preordered this game back when they had the free upgrade to the premium edition or whatever, but I didn't get any kind of special edition code or anything from best buy, I want my exiled prince and black emporium dlc. Anyone know how I could get my hands on the code that I preordered for? I wonder if it's too late to go back and return this and demand a signature edition.

As far as I know it was an issue with a few other games like Fable III and not getting content. Save your reciept of sale so you can properly claim it when they eventually receive enough complaints.

Anyone try the facebook beta game yet? I think it's amusing enough altough' like most facebook games' you need to pay for any cool items. It's stupid that way, but fun to play.

Either my receipt is in the car or the garbage, but I have order stuff because I preordered online. I searched my problem on google and it seems other people have had the same experience. Someone said they contacted Ea for the codes and got them, I'm trying this.
