Pal Pad, but you had to have connected to WFC at least once.

So I beat Elite Four and N and Ghetsis with mostly lvl.45 pokemon right? Well now all the trainers are high level, and I'm like fuuuu

Oh yeah forgot to mention that I got White today.

Nice. I'm making my way to Black City... slowly...

Again, only train starter. It might be stupid not to have equally high level backup Pokemon, but they're barely needed in most battles when your starter is level 82. :cookieMonster:

Lol so you have a lvl 82 starter and then your next few pokemon are like a level 20 Tympole or a Level 4 Lillipup. For me, it doesn't bother me to spend a few hours training my pokemon up to a good level. Preferably 13-15. Not too hard.

I'm getting old, I don't have time to train them. Besides that, I've already mentioned that as I progressed, I switched Pokemon for higher level ones I encountered in the wild:

Pokemon & Level   HMs (And Special Moves)
Emboar (Lvl. 82)Strength
Volcarona (Lvl. 75)None
Reshiram (Lvl. 53)Fly
Celebi (Lvl. 52)Flash
Claydol (Lvl. 50)Dig
Basculin (Lvl. 44)Surf
Cut
Waterfall
Dive

You get the Pal Pad shortly after you beat the first gym (It'll be in your "Key Items" sub category in your bag). Afterwards, go to the top floor of the Pokecenter and talk to either the middle or the far right person. You have to be able to connect to WiFi. When you're done doing those steps, you will have your friend code.
