Author Topic: How To Lucid Dream  (Read 33672 times)

I did it last night in bed (wow that sounded wrong) and now I can't remember whatever epic dream I had.

All I can remember is a cube of jello much like the one in my avatar.

my dreaming is odd.

I keep having every dream I ever have had over and over 1-6 years after I have them. And I don't even remember a lot of them until I'm in them. Of course I realise I'm dreaming... but I don't lucid dream in them. ._.'

This happens more frequently with some, less with others, but most of the ones I've had have only repeated once, and the most one has repeated is about three times...

And I've only had around seven lucid dreams in my entire life. D:

Of course I realise I'm dreaming... but I don't lucid dream in them. ._.'

Nope, thats lucid dreaming.
Lucid dreaming by definition is only consciousness in the dream. Controlling it is optional.

okay then.

anyways the awareness of dreaming DOES seem to have some sort of influence on the dream. For instance, I'll have the dream again, but some things may be slightly different or it will add another part to it. :o

Maybe that's just life since the last time I had the dream.

I've been reality-checking a lot recently. I think it proves promising.

it will add another part to it. :o
Happens to me every night.  D:

Sometimes it's damned scary.

Once I had a dream that I was doing... something... at a place.. then afterwards for some reason i snooped around a denny's at night in a random town with no people in it

Fantastic.

Remember guys, it can take a week or so to have a lucid experience. Don't feel discouraged if it doesn't work out instantly.

I think the MILD technique is promising. :o

im doing reasearch.

Going to sleep early helps.
Drinking water before bed helps.
Peanut butter (and probably banana's) help

More often than not I either don't have a dream or can't remember my dream. This could be due to a zinc deficiency in my diet.

Also, when I do dream I tend to view things from a third-person point of view. In saying that I must also say that I am never a different person in my dreams, I am always me, however I watch myself do things, it's a little hard to explain. Kind of like an out of body experience, but not.

Feedback?

I dream in 3rd person too, kind of like Gears of War view.

I've honestly been doing this for quite some time, it's always beyond amazing, I was in a nightmare...lucky me that I realized it was a dream and killed everything threatening me with the powers I imagined I had.
