Author Topic: How To Lucid Dream  (Read 33993 times)

If I remember correctly I was unaware I was dreaming.

Oh stuff. My lucid dream told the future. I ended up jumping through a window, waking up in my bed with blood on my face.

Clearly I'm doing this wrong, I've gone two nights doing this and haven't had a lucid dream. :o

I did, however, put a concept from when I was awake into my dream. That was as close as I could get to it. :c

EDIT:

I do reality checks, but only when I remember about them. I should associate things with reality checks. are these good:

-Whenever I get a sheet of paper out.
-Whenever I open up Notepad.
-Whenever I get a pencil out.
-Whenever I get in or get out of a car.
-Whenever I lie in my bed.

Of course not all of those, but some of them. :o

I doubt DILD will work for me so I tried WILD last night.
I couldn't even stay up long enough, much less keep focused.

I tried MILD two nights ago and again last night, last night though I only REM'd for a short amount of time. :o

hory stuff
it happened

I've been doing Lucid dreaming for a year or two now but I suck I can only realize I'm dreaming when I have a nightmare then I can control aspects of it and even my breathing rate but I cant do a WILD. I have a super awesome amazing technique that works but only if I can stay calm. How do I stay calm before a WILD, is there a special way? breathing rate? music?

I DiD iT!

But then my imagination went wild and I was surrounded by snakees and vaginas with spears.

i don't have dreams anymore wahhhhhhhh

1. How to get more vivid dreams?
NO DRUGS PLEASE. I am only 13. :P I will accept diet changes, like broccoli. I do eat my veggies. :3

2. Which is the best technique for getting lucid?

3. What are Sleep Paralysis hallucinations like?
Anything scary? I hate scary stuff. :(

4. Are WILD drams more vivid then others?

I had a lucid dream

do you know how weird it is to have wings? :|

Too bad it was only a dream, huh? :c

I've had a lot of dreams about flying, though none of them involved wings. They're more like... I don't know, an extended Force Jump from the Jedi Knight games?

How does paralysis happen?

I almost had one last night. I'm also slightly afraid because I don't want to "wake up" infront of my mirror.

1. How to get more vivid dreams?

Eating things with melatonin like cherries helps. A good diet can aid in this. However, largely you just need a good quality of sleep.

2. Which is the best technique for getting lucid?

There isn't one way that is the best. The easiest is DEILD. Set an alarm to wake you up 6 hours after you go to bed. When that alarm goes off, switch it off, go back to bed and get comfortable, then try not to move and tell yourself "I am lucid" over and over until you get tired.

3. What are Sleep Paralysis hallucinations like?

Just ignore it altogether, I for one rarely experience SP anymore. Its not scary unless you make it scary.

4. Are WILD drams more vivid then others?

In my experience yes, but thats probably because you are highly conscious the moment you enter the dream, where with the DILD method you have been in a dream-like frame of mind for a long time and its easier to lose lucidity.
