Author Topic: How To Lucid Dream  (Read 33701 times)

I'll be sure to try this tonight.

Hooray I have a new non-hideous avatar :D

I now know various ways to stabilize the dream, so I can hopefully make some new doorways in my house.

Also, apparently dream sharing is real.

Take it with a grain of salt.

I've had a shared dreaming experience. Basically it took many months but two people online had the same dream as I did, and I recognized them both in the dream. Interestingly, the dream suddenly changed its story while I was un-lucid where I found them. Both of the people I saw managed to recall details of the dream-- before I told them.

Evidence of shared dreaming? Perhaps.

People don't ALWAYS see frightening things in mirrors, just distorted.

but i just think that my figure will be like that "the enigma of amigaras fault" thingie

why in the forget i get paranoic when its night
and im just cool and relaxed when its day
meh, i think im going to try getting lucid in a midday nap

Something that will make mirrors seem nice in dreams:
Like all things in dreams, its your perception what you see. You may see yourself perfectly, or your mind might have trouble memorizing your face perfectly so you'll look a little different. Sometimes you might have extreme trouble generating a realistic image of yourself, so your face will start to distort or change-- but thats rather cool. You aren't guaranteed to see a monster in the reflection. Only if you get scared you will. Just have fun with it, give yourself another eye, grow a beard, turn yourself into a robot. Your reflection is the best way to morph yourself in the dream and become something else.

Something that will make mirrors seem scary (copy and paste to see)
Someone once dreamed that he looked in the mirror. He saw an old, decaying corpse in the reflection. It jumped out of the mirror, grabbed him, and pulled him in. It scared the hell out of him, he posted it in his online dream journal and took him a while to calm down about it. Whoo thats loving scary stuff br0.

That thing you linked to is saying
Durr Durr Durr

I had a dream that started with me riding a train and watching the flooding outside t he window, then I saw a triceratops attacking someone and I transported myself over there in an instant. Two daggers magically appeared in my hands and I used them to fight it off, as it's life was coming to an end a dragon appeared. I used some kind of crazy acrobatics skill and landed on the dragon's back. I stabbed my daggers into it's back and continued to do so. I made a strong swing with the daggers into the back of the dragon's neck, with intentions of controlling and flying it. Sadly I lost a little control of the dream at this point and used the daggers as a scissor and cut of it's head. Then I swam in the huge river flood up towards some ruins of city and met up with my brother who handed me a phone to talk to my dad, the dream pretty much ended here. The dream became lucid when everything went dark and I realized that I was blind, when I wasn't, at this point I just started imagining what was happening.

I had my first lucid dream

FFFFFUUUUUUCkool kids klubK YESSSS

I forgot to anchor myself.

Oh wow
I tried the WBTB method and i had my first lucid dream.
i imagined myself meditating in a forest so i didn't start out all exited.
Then i came out of it and just started exploring a little bit. but then i lost awareness and i went back to sleep

I can only vividly remember having one lucid dream in the past and the first thing I did was try to spawn stuff, but I couldn't get it to work. I tried doing crazy stuff like closing my eyes and spinning around and even trying to shoot webs like Spiderman.
EDIT:

"...or to check an alarm clock(which will show distorted patterns on the
interface)"

stuff, this happened to me last night and I thought my clock was just flipping out.

I must've been to agitated to dream last night...
I wanted to stalk other people in their dreams, no raping or anything, it would be just my luck that they would remember it. :/

I would really, really love to do this.
However, since I'm a huge coward, the concept of scary, distorted images in mirrors and everything
scares me. Also, I've heard that using the WILD method to achieve lucid dreaming is outright terrifying. Is it?

Actually, let me tell you...

The story of Banana's first and only lucid dream.

It began as a completely ususal night. I went to sleep.
However, I then began to become aware of the dream.
The thing is, I felt like my right eye was open, allowing me to see my duvet and bed.
I manage to do one thing in this dream, and one thing only...

Walk upstairs...

And throw my damn jacket on the floor?!

Thinking back though, I'm happy for one reason:
We have a huge mirror in our hallway. I walked right past it.
It was none-existant. Oh, as I mentioned I'm scared of scary stuff, mirrors in dreams, that is.

Always wanted to do this.
