Author Topic: How To Lucid Dream  (Read 33782 times)

Thanks for continuing to ignore me, Icy :|

There is like 1 to 2 extra pages a day and I miss things.

How long does it normally take to start seeing imagery, after entering SP?

And how long after that does it normally take to kinda 'jump' into said imagery and become lucid, when doing a WILD?

I tried it last night, I think I was close but I just couldn't get to sleep.  All I remember was thinking about going through a stuff ton of doors at high speed.

I don't think this is actually the one I was talking about, but whatever.
One of the screws in my glasses frame is longer than the others, and thus sticks out.
Would checking that screw for differences work as an RC?

I don't guess I'm doing it right, I can't seem to keep focused on lucid dreaming before falling asleep.

My mind clears and I don't really think about anything. If I do think about something, it's some sort of song that fades away as I fall asleep. D:

SP takes about 5-10 minutes with brainwave entrainment
normally i don't know

I fell asleep at the piano today. I was having a nice little dream when suddenly I her the sound of multiple low keys being hit very hard. I fell out of my chair, too :c

Now my head hurts.

Night all.

Hoping for a lucid dream tonight.  Wish me luck, <3

Hmmm, I may have semi-obtained it.

Last night, while falling asleep I was continuously telling myself in my head "I'm going to be lucid tonight." After finally passing out, I woke up again after who knows how long, but I felt dazed. I looked outside, and it was brighter than it would be during the night, which was odd. I reached over to pet my cat who usually sits on my bed, but I couldn't feel myself feeling her fur (does that make sense?) I then tried to sit up, which took a lot of strength. Eventually, I laid back down and tried closed my eyes for a minute, then I went back to pet my cat, who I could now feel. Then I looked outside and it was a dark as it was supposed to be.

Mainly I was anxious about how frightening it may have been so I was kind of having some form of longing to not do it. Like I said, I'm the paranoid type and I don't know if that would affect my dream or not :I I'd rather not fall asleep and get projected into a scenario where I'm being chased by everyone and everything.

I had great anxiety when I started intentionally inducing lucid dreams. Once you realize that its YOUR dream world and every aspect is controllable if you try to, its not scary.

Interested what happened there. Did I forget to mention turning the light in the room on and seeing if it really turns on is a good RC too?

There is no set time for this to occur. Usually you won't even notice the transition from dream to reality-- occasionally you will, and it'll feel awesome.

Once you see imagery if you keep a hold of it you'll jump into it immediately. I can't explain what its like seeing a static image and then being inside of it... its like having blurry vision that fixes itself.

Unfortunately you won't sleep if you think too much. Let thoughts pass through your mind, don't focus on one particular thing for too long. If that fails, focus on your breathing.

Probably easier ways. I wouldn't know.

Would checking to see if I still had a fungal infection be a good RC?

I'm serious.

Probably not.
Used its a new thing you aren't used to yet.

No. An RC has to be something that will unquestionably glitch. Your mind will probably simulate an infection.

I had a dream that I partly controlled :P I managed to remember it decently.

It started off in my house, I was sitting in the back room, playing the piano. Then my friend from Blockland who I've never physically seen before come and opens the door. We both say hi, and then I tell him "come in". I turn around from the piano, and suddenly I've got a laptop and a notepad of yellow paper. My friend is sitting on the old yellow couch to my right, and he starts saying, "I've got... uh... special plans" I can't remember what he said after that, something about hamburgers. Next I find myself in some sort of game in my church, almost like a Pokemon Unova region mixed with several storybooks gone wrong. I chose the water starter type Pokemon for some reason. All of the currency there was in Minecraft-styled hearts or whatever. So my sister and I wandered around, watching the bizarre boxcar displays going around and around. I later remember me going on an alternative route to get to somewhere, hitting major crowds as the service ended. I think I back-tracked or something, because then I come across a massive storybook. I turned to the title page, and in big letters it said:
TOM
THE MOUSE WHO WANTED TO BE A MONSTER
I later woke up to a bad leg cramp.

people broke into my house in my dream last night
And there was this bastard I wanted to punch but

It wasn't very effective.
