EDIT:
You seem more lacking in a sense of purpose than depressed. You need to set some goals for yourself and meet them, whether it is academic goals or sports goals or socializing goals. You need to constantly try to meet goals in life and just build up slowly. If your goal right now is to rush home from school to get on Blockland and throw around more cheezy one-liners and 4chan imitation you aren't going to get any sense of accomplishment which leads to lack of ambition.
I am trying to stay in my current school (I have to get all A's or my dad won't let me stay in Catholic School) but I do feel rather unmotivated despite the fact that going to Marlboro is a fate worse than death

My father tells me I lack empathy
I only read the first post to this, but empathy is a sign of stupidity in my book.

Empathy is, according to Wikipedia, the ability to share feelings.

If your friend's dog died, would you not feel sad?  If you would, that's empathy.  Even if you didn't know the dog.

Kev, I actually am very similar in the fact that I lack motivation.  My Mom always tells me that I lack "drive".  But I actually do fairly well in school.

I get B's in school but my parents believe I can do better

I'm going to prove that this test thing is pretty much no where near an accurate test for depression.

Where's the link?

Well this is what I wrote last night:
Quote
Scary how accurate that was, about the whole sophmore thing.  But I do hang out with kids twice a weekend.  I moved from my old school into a private school, and fridays I hang out with the private schoolers and saturdays I hang out with my old friends.  Also, the only reason why I noticed that I didn't desire a girlfriend is because a few girls told me to ask them out, and I was like, "Uh...Can't, sorry."  I didn't even think twice about it.  Also, I'm not suicidal, I just wouldn't care if tomorrow morning while walking across the street to my bus, and a car struck me dead.
If you feel similarly, brofist.

Major Depression:   Moderate
Dysthymia:   Very Slight
Bipolar Disorder:   Slight-Moderate
Cyclothymia:   Slight
Seasonal Affective Disorder:   Slight
Postpartum Depression:   N/A

Cyclothymia is a form of Bipolar Disorder, Dysthymia is a chronic type of depression where moods are generally lower.

The only sadness I've felt within the past two months was a breakup and a death in the family, and yet I apparently am near medium-levels of Bipolar and moderate amounts of major depression.

Concluding that this test is a steaming load of bullstuff.

Major Depression:    Very Slight
Dysthymia:    Slight
Bipolar Disorder:    Very Slight
Cyclothymia:    Slight
Seasonal Affective Disorder:    Very Slight
Postpartum Depression:    N/A

Yay, I'm normal.
That entire test is dumb.

@Mary & @Nickelob

You guys don't seem to be happy at any time when you are on these forums.

Bipolar Disorder:   Extremely High
Cyclothymia:   Extremely High
Seasonal Affective Disorder:   Very Slight
