Any game with custom weapons are just recipes for disaster. Terrible games IMO.
Cod4 was alright, but only when you're playing with friends on your X-box or something.

I never really understood what's the matter with this. If they have a powerfull weapon and you don't have it, you can either compensate for that in skill or just build that gun yourself.

That's not really "it" either. All of the weapons are balanced against each other. The AK-47 isn't any more powerful than the M4, it's really all about preference. This is the same with Counter-Strike.

The customization options just allow people to modify weapons to their personal preference and add depth to the game. The slight stat modifications are also balanced against each other.

Black ops got boring fast, its just the same old grindfest of "look guys! I have higher numbers than you!" The only reason I'd play it now is for zombies. :/
