I have the disk version, however it has no expansions and doesn't work with recent patches.

Do enough people still play to make it worth it?

I have no idea about the PC one but people sure as hell play it on the Ps3.

Just don't buy bf2, save up for bf3

I don't have the game myself but I was with my friend yesterday at his house and there were a good number of servers, even in the opposite timezone.

The Steam version has issues with keys, But a quick trip to the Steam Forums can find you a fix.

But if I remember right EA released the expansions for free.

Yeah but I think they need the most recent patch and mine doesn't work with the patch

why do new young gamers think bf2 means bc2?
bad company games are stuff, and shouldn't exist. bf2 was the greatest shooter of all time.
