That's only because loveism was prevalent up until very recently, Men have pushed women aside for centuries regardless of how smart they were. That's just a testament to both our ability to discriminate and people's natural chauvinism, that says nothing about men's dominance, and all that says about our legacy is that most men are richardheads.

To answer the original question, girls do go through more troubles than guys. Periods, childbirth, boobs - which can be rather heavy- and the constant harassment from men. Men just occasionally get boners and a voice crack. Whoop-de-loving-doo.
