Badspot made hamachi not work.

I have used my key on several ip's, not one warning or any response. You're allowed to use Blockland anywhere.

Really? How did he prevent that? I mean, unless you are paying for hamachi pro, the max you can support is 16. I would understand why Badspot would purposely break Blockland on Hamachi but this is perfectly legal. You can't host over internet and only a select few can join the server via LAN. At most this would be a clan server and even then you want guests to visit the server.

Like I said, give it a try. She dosnt need a key (though I recommend buying a key ASAFP). All she would do is "Play as guest" and quary LAN, server should appear, If not I have no idea...

lol im sure this "sister" is his friend from school, and the family story is a ploy for sharing permission.

Even so the question is will Hamachi work? Tails says no, and I have nothing to say otherwise.

ive heard it dosnt work on blockland. badspot did something that makes it not work

In order to use the same key on multiple instances of Blockland at the same time, they must be on the same modem (LAN network).

I do not mean the same model, or same provider, I mean same physical modem.

Otherwise you'll get authentication errors and Badspot will yell at you.

Do not try to get around this. I wont be surprised if certain people got banned in this topic.

How far were the different locations?
I recall him saying at one point that he'll only do anything if you somehow traveled thousands of miles in only a few minutes.

Why would we (or I since I brought up Hamachi first) would get banned? It's a perfectly legit program and idea. You can use Hamachi on alot of other programs and games.

hamachi exists for only 1 reason; to allow people to play pirated games, multiplayer together.
that port forwarding excuse is a bunch of crap, as anyone can do it on any router/modem.

The only legit reason I see for using hamachi is playing games that don't support online play.

yeah like some old school network-only games.

i cant even think of any though lol

I didn't wana put it that way but ya that's the case

When I said legit, I ment as in it's fine to download and use. There's nothing against Hamachi ITSELF. I just don't believe I will be banned for such a thing.

You suggested it so he could circumvent the authentication blocking two WAN ips from using the same key.

What else could you have possibly suggested it for? Otherwise you weren't even being on-topic. Which is also bad.

He asked for a way to connect 2 computers using one key, only way you can do that is via LAN and Hamachi provides the resources. One of my earlier posts suggested that he get a key for his "sister" As Soon As loving Possible so in no way was I promoting piracy or suggesting others to work around the authentication of Blockland. This program is also openly available to anyone who wants it.

In no way did I suggest him to cheat Badspot of his money.
