Author Topic: More Props (ex. Decorative Bricks)  (Read 8114 times)

Let me start by saying people hate bricks that are props for chairs, trash cans, stuff like that. But come on, you guys, there is no possible way you can make a fridge that looks decent enough to go in a deli on a super high quality build, or a vending machine in a gas station.

There is a brick pack by Tophius and some others (Tophius I remember because of the smexy modellng) called 'Decorative Bricks' on RTB, and it comes with a vending machine brick, two trash can bricks (the base and the lid are seperate bricks), a print brick picture frame, and some other textures bricks for a brick wall and tiled floors. But, my point is, there isnt enough of these amazing bricks.

I know some of you guys, like Tophius, yndaaa, and others can model
very lovey stuff. If one of you guys could put that work into some bricks like this, I would be very happy. If anyone is gonna take a shot at this (which you probably wont), here's some stuff I'd like to see (excuse to use bullets!):
  • Large dumpster (6x12)
  • Small dumpster (4x8)
  • Chairs (that arent stupid vehicles that float)
  • Desk props(? [Stacks of paper, computers, keyboards, staplers, small things like that])
  • Barrel(s)

Other than these, maybe some more things people want. If you want some things I didnt list, just post them in the commentary.

I'll make a poll on how good or bad of an idea this is.

I could model any of those but I don't know how to make props (/bricks) with Blender.

I know you could model this stuff, you have amazing talent. /kissingup

Wat no I don't, I am a begginer. But I could model them anyway.

Think you could slap something up in about ten minutes so you can get alot of "Wow!"s?
Maybe someone willing to do this will ask you for the model.

10 minutes it is.

That was fast, and it looks nice. Nice work.

Think you could try a dumpster? Tell me if I'm pushing you to work hard, I dont want to do that. Also, I'm working on an RP, and I get my laptop this afternoon at 6. If you want to help I'd be glad, considering you're one of the smarter ones on this becursed website.

I repeat, I can't import it to Blockland as I have no idea how to make Props, also it has >1000 verticles/polygons.

I know you said that. I didnt mean it, I meant I would like to see a dumpster. I really wanna make one, though. But sadly, I have no modelling programs. Any easy FREE programs I can get in a few minutes?

Easy, relatively.

I use Blender but I can't really call it easy.

Also, bevel rape: 15k verticles (ohstuffohforget)

Can I get rectangles and stretch them into flat surfaces?

What do you mean.

You know, like, 'spawn' a rectangle shape, grap a point of it, and stretch it out, making it a flat surface, and have it lining up with a grid?

If this is what you mean, yes.
