Blender.

School time I won't be posting here for ~6 hours, sorry.

yndaaa,

There's something fishy about the sudden name mentioning going on.. I don't like it

On-Topic
It's not a BAD idea but I personally like the idea of building them rather then making props

But my point is that if you want to make a vending machine, or a trash can, or a barrel. they end up being a little to big and take up more space than needed. amirite

I don't particularly fully support the whole pre-fabricated props thing. The reason I handed my models to siba was because they were lying around as something I'd made for fun and he'd specifically asked for them, but I would never go out of my way to actually make some for a pack. It kind of detracts from the whole LEGO brick based building idea.

Granted, LEGO does have their tiny barrel and dustbin bricks which may serve other aesthetic uses, but large stuff like vending machines are pretty silly, in my opinion.

I agree with Tophius

You can build dumpsters already
You can build papers already
You can use prints for keyboards already
You can build computers already
You can build chairs already
You can build barrels already

I'm more than happy to supply a picture of each, if you decide to be butthurt.

I understand this sounds like a pretty bad idea to some half of you, but I would like to have some of these, because sometimes you end up making something too big. A fridge, for instance. Everyone here can agree that you cannot make a decent looking fridge at all.

Also, dumpsters are fairly easy to make, but you could still have a better looking one, and have 3 different bricks for the dumpster. One be the base of it, one be a closed lid, and the third be an open lid.

I disagree. I've seen plenty of great fridges.

And I suppose anything can look better with a custom brick. But that's just lazy.

It's not lazy. I just choose to have a smaller brick count, and you can agree a prop would look better than bricks.

The equal to a brick in BL in blender is X=0.5, Y=0.5, Z=0.6
The equal to a plate is Z=0.2

Refrigerator: two safes and the food mod.

Models =/= BLB

They are VERY different from eachother, and currently, there is no working importer to turn a model into a BLB, the only way to make a model work alongside a plantable brick would be to make it a JVS brick with no animations or make it a prop (both stupid ideas)

oh, and BLB is a bitch to work with

Add Printer to Desk Props.
