I've never claimed nor believed that there is a species being half human and animal.
In fact, I find that very idea stupid.
What's worse is dumbasses who believe that they are animals trapped inside a human body.
some of this has to do with a persons imagination. which is where sentience comes in because any person who takes the effort to use their brain can imagine an endless amount of strange things. like a unicorn-bear who could shoot black holes from his eyebrows and fly while stuffting a rainbow from his ass.
