No, it's an automatic email that you get if Gabe's out. But there's a good chance Flying Ace is lying and he never sent any email to Gabe, because someone posted that same thing on the Facepunch Potato ARG thread.

No I emailed him... asking for help cause us guys on the IRC are kinda stuck, but someone on the IRC stated they were going to post it on facepunch after I posted the image
