Technology is taking turns now bro. Cellphones are portable computers now. iPods are the same. Etc etc.
You're missing my point. I'm saying that as of now, Apple's focus isn't music anymore. Its apps.Apps apps apps. That's it. Their commercials? Apps.
Imo, they are focusing on the apps too much. They aren't working out ways to get a subscription plan, or music suggestion, or trying to raise the quality of the iPod's speakers/buds, they are just working on ways to open Angry Birds faster.
And why would they make a music plan? Unless you plan on downloading 15 songs a month, there's no advantage.
Maybe it's just me but 1.26 dollars per song sounds ridiculous :O
Its .99, isn't it? That's what the price is for me..
Now .99 is not that better, considering it's just a 0.27 decrease. With 15 dollars you can download infinite songs a month. Seems like a better deal.

You can download as many as you want for 15, but you only get to keep a certain number...like 20 or 15...so you end up paying close to the same price.

But bottom line, they're the same price. Personally I prefer the pay one at a time because I don't want to pay 15 bucks for a month I don't want/need any more music, then that's 15 bucks to Microsoft for nothing. I would feel forced to find new music.
I disagree that it shouldn't be this way.Apple perfected selling music online. They took a portable audio device, and opened it up to alternative functionality. That is a good thing. You yourself mentioned the downside of Zune not having apps.
The music is soo much more important.
wat. No, with the monthly plan, you get unlimited downloads. You only keep the music as long as you keep the plan, but you do get to actually own and keep 10 songs monthly no matter what.
lol so if i want to keep the all the music i buy from zune i pay $15/mo forever? so if I live until i'm 80, i'd have to pay... let's see... about $11,340. Nice.
