Its happened to me, actually. I went to a server that was using Squideey's textures, I had default ones, and I could see them.

I forget which update it was, but one of the updates made it so clients see the host's textures.  It's a really nice feature.

1: Nice edit I missed but can guess.
2: It improves the visual effect of the originals to not seem as ridiculous. Unlike your ugly ones, his aren't meant to completely change the game and be an annoying bother. Again, they only are meant to fix some abnormalities in visualization.
