Hi.

Welcome to:THE SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL MEEEEEGATHREEEAD!

Here, you will Share Friend Codes, ask for How-to's, Talk about your Brawl adventures, and Have fun!

And First, I need help with something. I have a broken SSBB CD, not literally broken, but scratched and unplayable, I've cleaned it, yes. I need to know how to get it fixed WITHOUT BUYING another copy, or getting a new one for a price under $20. I hope you can help me.

Now, on with the Megathread!

P.S. I will also post Player Bios, so Look at them to know your character.

Now, here's the bullstuff in this: YOU HAVE TO UNLOCK NESS AND CAPTAIN FALCON.
They've been in SSB for years and now, UNLOCK THEM!

Eh, Lucas is better than Ness and I never played as Captain Falcon so I can't comment on him. I don't see why I need to unlock Ness.

MY Character:

Toon Link.

Toon Link pretty much plays the same as his Young Link counterpart did in Melee, except with a few added features from Wind Waker. For being such a light character he doesn't move particularly fast, and his lack of weight means he's definitely on the floaty side, leaving him open to attacks while in the air. Toon Link is best played as a projectile fighter, and he's got plenty at his disposal, including his bow, bomb, and boomerang attacks. His hand-to-hand combat is no slouch either; it's strong and quick, and his Smash Attacks offer a lot of knockback. Like Samus, if you miss with his grab you'll be a sitting duck for a couple seconds, so make sure that hookshot makes contact if you're going to use it!

hey look someone else who plays Lucas/Ness
rare encounter indeed

I play Lucas as well.
Lucas is aweome :3

Mario

Nintendo's ubiquitous mascot, the red-capped Mario has been hurtling over barrels and stomping Goombas since 1981, and his fighting style largely mimics those antics. As the most balanced fighter in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, like in Melee, Mario has no great strengths or weaknesses, but he does boast several useful aerial attacks, making an air game ideal for anyone using him.

Kirby

This is Kirby, Warp Star-riding citizen of Dream Land who can suck up anything. His Copy Ability skill allows him to steal the powers of other characters. His moves are nearly identical to those in Super Smash Bros. Melee, though his Low Kick is much weaker this time around, and his Charge is much stronger. Kirby also possesses the invaluable ability to make six jumps in a row, making it extremely difficult (and incredibly frustrating) for other opponents to knock him out of bounds. It is also possible for you to suck up an opponent and then fall off the stage, taking your opponent with you. You don't gain points, but if playing Stock and have 1 more life than your opponent or more, it can be useful. Or you could just suck them up, jump off, spit out and float back up.

Pikachu

Unveiled at E3 2006, Pikachu (ピカチュウ, Pikachū) is a character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In the E3 2006, Pikachu didn't show its Final Smash like Mario, Kirby, and Link did. Visually, Pikachu has barely changed at all from its Melee design, only being larger and touched up slightly. It has all of its moves from the first two games.

It is currently in the B Tier and holds 9th position overall. This makes Pikachu closer to its original Top Tier status in Super Smash Bros, where it was ranked first place, as opposed to its Low Tier status in Melee, where it is ranked twelfth place. It is currently the highest-ranked character in Brawl that has appeared in all three Super Smash Bros. games, and also the highest-ranked in the Pokémon series. Pikachu's decent killing power, quick overall speed, good recovery and edge guarding, good chain grab, and Brawl's new physics have helped it a lot; Pikachu can no longer be so easily combo'd, its grab range is no longer the shortest (Ganondorf now has the shortest grab range), its Thunder is not as laggy, and it's gained various new tactics such as Quick Attack Canceling.

Samus Aran

Samus Aran (サムス・アラン, Samusu Aran) is the protagonist of the Metroid series. Samus is the galaxy's most famous bounty hunter, constantly helping the Galactic Federation in their fight against the Space Pirates. She has appeared in all three Super Smash Bros. games to date.

Kirby is a major badass. You don't forget with him.

Ike will loving murder all of you. But I'm confused about Marth. Is it a boy or a girl. :U It sounds boy, but that hair band and eyes and general looking like one and stuff.
