Man is inherently evil.
well duh. even god told us that.

but only an idiot would describe it as inherently, because you cannot be born with learned personality traits.

Who said anything about killing them. I'd much prefer we educate them.
If they were educated properly as you say, then they wouldn't be religious.

I got the bible from the library earlier today

But there would still be religious people.

How about I put it this way.

MAN IS NATURALLY EVIL.

If any of you think of yourselves as "good" moral people then say you are. It doesn't make it true.

You actually got it :D

but "naturally" defies everything religious people fight for.
Christians don't want to believe we are primal animals who have over time changed ourselves otherwise.

but then what? they have to admit god MADE us evil?

the average Christan cant philosophize or logic either way. they simply blot it out of their mind as if it never came up. its easier looking forward that narrow path. you know whats outside that view but the longer you stay in, the easier it is to pretend.

Well I think it's the right version, hopefully lol

Christians about the devil: "Why would you believe in something so evil?"

Christians about the devil: "Why would you believe in something so evil?"

because it's cool

I just hate humanity in general. How on earth is either side going to settle?

It won't, I hate both sides of the equation and religion wars or philosophy wars are just big rage fests with sides that think they are right.

Why does crime exist? Why do people make the decisions they make? I don't blame it on pasts or environments. I blame the fact that people "know" they have a choice.
I've never done anything horrible to a person in my entire life. I've grown up in a healthy environment and have a good family. I could just "choose" to kill a person if I so pleased. If I'm an animal Then I could murder and blame it on my primal instincts.
Evil is evil and people know and can choose to do it.

I remember some psychologist guy made his supposed point with a bell and two dogs. He had trained the dogs to think the bell meant food and they would naturally begin to salivate and come running.
Now all he needs to do is do it successfully with human beings. He rings the bell and a person would know "it's time to eat" but the person after having done this for several days decides, "Nah I don't want to eat today." Humans can make choices, animals can't.

That was Ivan Pavlov, I believe.

I hate it when people take the Bible literally, it's kind of my pet peeve
I hate it when people think that a God takes them out of the competition or they win a game. Thats my pet peeve.

No! No, no, stop being handicapped for the love of god. Naturally doesn't just mean "nature", Christians define natural human traits as the predispositions of our flesh that defy the will of God.

but then what? they have to admit god MADE us evil?

If you're looking for contradictions in the Bible, stop, you're terrible at it.

There already was evil in the world, and Adam and Eve were sinning before they even ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But they were innocent, they had no way of knowing they were sinning, and after eating the fruit they lost their innocence and had to be held accountable for the sin they were committing.

lets all type like this without adhering to any real rules of grammar or punctuation and generalize a fourth of the world's population as being intellectually inferior to atheists. then after we can pull handicapped points from our asses and try to look totally smart and informed on the subject
