Yeah. As I've been getting older, I've been getting less attracted to videogames, and more attracted to fixing up a car we having laying around, and just being with friends and stuff.

macbook pro from 5 years ago. plays flashgames and blockland without any problems. the only lag i have is due to stuffty wifi from the server owner. if i cleared off all my old blockland data this baby would be as fast as the day i got her. the keyboard's all bran new because i hit it with a hammer to get my money's worth for that 3 year warranty. forget yes.

I did some math to tell you why this is handicapped.

60$ saved a month will amount to a grand total of 720$ a year.

To get back the 2.5k you spent, it will take three years.

To actually make that money from the saved cash, you will need to wait another three years.

Now because 57 million people die each year and 6.4 billion is the population atm, there's an 18% chance you'll be dead before you make the money back.

So you can die a hipster in a coffee shop holding a macbook clutching to your heart as you topple over from a heart attack.

Or you can die an amazing gamer with every single TF2 hat, every game on steam, dying from the sheer excitement of having crysis and HL2 both on max settings running at the same time with some hot BBW research in the background causing your heart to explode.

CHOOSE.

You're going to get rid of an awesome computer and then 4 days later realize you're an idiot. Also this seems to be the same broken logic as an alcoholic where they either have to have 500 beers or 0 beers, why can't they just drink 2 or 3 and then call it a night. You can still game an hour or 2 a day and do everything else you want to do.

he could die because the person he would be typing a response to you and strain his finger, thus causing himself to panic and loose control of his legs. he would then spiral out of his second story window hitting an angry wasp on the way down. broken, bleeding, and battered the wasps attack his skinless flesh, causing his body to expand so much that his cells actually separate from each other and him to die a very slow, painful death. his blood is on your hands.

Thing is I don't even play any of those games. Ever. I play minecraft, blockland and css. That's literally it. I would play like an hour of wow a week, an hour of galaxies a month (if that).

Not really. Everything I do on my computer, would be more than enough on a macbook. Its not that I don't want to play videogames, because trust me I do, I'm just bored of most games out there.

I don't care if you're a man. Make love to me.
Take a number, step in line.

Macbooks only have a giant battery and a good case design, other than the little gay light up Apple.

I'd rather just go with a decent Windows-based laptop, but eh, whatever you choose.

Apple logo sure is expensive.

Call me an idiot, but I like the case and battery a lot. Like, apart from the hardware, the case and battery are the major selling points. The other laptop I was looking at was about ~$700 so I figured why not splurge the extra couple bills and buy a macbook. Not to mention, with the students package, you get either an iPod or an external monitor, almost all of their software released by Apple that would be beneficial for a student and some other stuff.
ha

Get out.

Windows: Crappy, slow, virus infested, but almost everything can run on it and it is also the most popular and most favored
Mac: Fast, smooth, not nearly as many viruses, but isn't compatible with very much (that is NOT Apple's fault - it's the designer of the program's responsibly to do it) and is rather rare and unliked

I personally would take a Mac that runs Windows as well. That is a huge advantage as then you can have a Mac AND Windows on one fast computer. Windows can't do that >:D and if you're not gaming then yo don't even need Windows.

You're an idiot. The Mac OS can be installed on any computer. and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can also install a Windows OS on another hard drive.

don't do it I felt the same way sold my xbox then I was really sorry
