Yeah, it'll work fine. I booted Crysis 2 on my dads Macbook Air, it'll handle damn near anything you throw at it.

Granted, Crysis was on custom settings, generally on low.

I got Portal and GMod, they both run better than my old PC did.

I was gonna say that the MacBook Air 2nd gen is similarly-spec'd (still a bit weaker) to my Alienware M11x, so it shouldn't have any issues running any Source-based game.

But I guess you figured that out already.

Looking at the specs, I'd say you could run it fairly well.
But I wouldn't guarantee anything.

isnt a macbook just a netbook without a dedicated video?
do ANY mac laptops have a dedicated video?

small laptops are not made to be powerful, they are made to look cute and be super mobile and light.

a tricycle is lighter and easier to put away then your bike you know. does it mean its better?

I've never seen a grown man on a loving tricycle. Maybe if you're mentally defective, sure, but most people don't need a gimpy watered down version of the real thing.
