Being completely benign and having affection and empathy for everyone is not the same thing.

I understand that you're a dipstuff but I still wouldn't want anything bad happening to you (or Boltster, or Otis, or Stocking, or anyone else), whereas I'm entirely sure you feel the former about and would not move a finger to prevent me from dying horribly.
