Also too me I think to go along with my first post I believe the field is a hoax and she's still in the lab. It's to weird that the entrance is a shack in the middle of a field. The Lab seems too big and too important to be just a shack.

there was a more conventional entrance at the end of portal 1. portal 2's entrance/exit was likely just one of many service exits.

My speculation if you look around the moon it looks like it's night and remember glados says she put something in the oxygen to make you not know what time it is my oppion is that that the sky is a hologram and she is still in the lab.

aperture science doesn't have any known holograms, glados wasn't in control of the facility until after you place the portal on the moon, the moon has no atmosphere and thus no sky, holograms cannot simulate the wind seen outside the facility

She said that it is impossible to know the time because there are no clocks or windows. The holes in the ceiling indicate day (Or a brightly lit room), and then time passes and you get night.
