And yes she got out but then if Valve is going to make a Portal 3 they will most likely update the ending like they did with the first Portal.

Or maybe not and have a plot twist at the beginning of the third game.

Or have you waking up in the third game and not know what's going on (and you find out later.)

Or Portal 3 will have Chell but not as thr main character.

Or Chell will go back.

Or you never left the labs and it's all a trick.

Or maybe Portal 3 will be a prequel to Portal to find out how you got put in the centre in the first place.

Or just make a Portal 3 without Chell.

Or just put Chell back in without telling you how you got back in.

Or put some sort of Portal thingy into HL2:EP 3.

Or put a reference into HL2:EP 3 that explains how Chell was put pack into the enrichment center but not have a giant Portal thing going on.

Or not make a Portal 3.


All of these are possible.

The ship Borealis is owned by Aperture science. you can see borealis in Half life episode 2 whit a box whit "aperture science" written on it so the portal refference has been already made, Half life and portal are in the same galaxy/planet. also in ep2 they talk about using the portal technology against Combines but Eli resists.

This. In fact, Portal is pretty much just a mod of Half Life 2 with portals. All the Half Life 2 enemies and weapons are in Portal.

Personally I don't think Valve should try to cross Portal and Half Life at all. It would be cool to have some storage cubes hidden on the ship or maybe a turret or something but that's it.

Also too me I think to go along with my first post I believe the field is a hoax and she's still in the lab. It's to weird that the entrance is a shack in the middle of a field. The Lab seems too big and too important to be just a shack.

What makes me think this is how did they get the Ships out and the recruitment area.
I know some of the possibilities are:
1. Portals - Nothing they show in the game supports that they could have done that without having other entrance.
2. it's above ground

UPDATE: Also a possible Portal 3 is more like the Co-op mode. (you're a robot. If done would be cool if you could design ur robot)
