It's perfect how it is right now. I'd feel safer in a place where I'm allowed to legally own and carry a gun on my self if I want to, you never know if you might need it.

I think guns should only be legal on your property, having one in possession while in public should be illegal.

What's the point of that though, if it's illegal that just makes it so anyone caught by someone with a gun in public has no chance to defend themselves.

we dont live in the old wild west here. there are consequences for shooting people.
people dont just shoot a guy when hes being a jerk to them. guns are safe.


in public, your word isnt good enough. there needs to be witnesses and reason to shoot a person. good reason.
at home, well of course you already can shoot a guy that is unwelcome. not much argument there.

Maybe people won't carry them if it's against the law...?
A lot of people actually obey some laws.
And I don't see people carrying guns in public much.

If someone plans on killing one they don't give two forgets if carrying a gun is illegal or not, that's what most people don't understand. If you're going to break one law you're not going to not break one that isn't as bad as the other.
